About Me
I’ve worn several hats in the tech world - from being a key contributor at a 3-person startup to working on the S3 team at AWS. Most recently, I developed integrations for the Brightspace education platform at D2L.
My passion lies in building robust data pipelines and ETL processes that transform raw data into actionable insights. This led me to create Castor, an Apache Airflow-based tool that processes USGS Streamflow data, making environmental data more accessible and analyzable.
When I’m not architecting data solutions, you’ll find me cycle touring, running, or diving deep into soccer data analysis. I combine my love for the beautiful game with my data engineering skills to build predictive models for identifying future US men’s national team stars. I also enjoy backpacking, creating music, and experimenting with active note-taking methods.
Currently, I’m scratching my maker itch by hand-crafting bows, while simultaneously working on expanding my data engineering toolkit through projects that merge environmental data with modern streaming architectures.
Feel free to explore my projects or reach out if you’d like to chat about data engineering, soccer analytics, or anything in between!
